GRWM | get together vs party | Part Two

Hello everyone! As I said in Part One we've now hit the birthday season in our friendship group, meaning I had two different evenings to get ready for so I thought I'd show you the type of outfits/makeup I wear to evening 'get togethers' and parties.
This is Part Two, showing you a party look!

Last night we had a garden party for my friends birthday, the weather held up for us for about 4 hours so it was really fun to be outside!

To start off I used the simple face wash.
I then washed and curled my hair.

I then did my usual makeup routine. I also used the rimmel stay matte powder, but i did not photograph it as it has smashed!

This time adding in 3 eyeshadows from the BarryM Natural Glow Palette 2

Using these brushes to apply everything

After I added this small elephant choker from etsy

And applied the Perrie Collection lipstick and used my Si Armani perfume.

I didn't get good quality makeup pictures as I was getting ready with friends and we were running a bit late but here is the best 'close up'.

I wore a black playsuit from River Island and a kimono from H&M and paired it with black Converse. I also tied my hair up into a 'half up, half down' bun.

I hope you enjoyed this two part post and hopefully it gave you some outfit ideas!

GRWM | get together vs party | Part One

Hello everyone! It's been over a month since I last posted but as you all know I've been busy revising and getting ready for exams which start in about three weeks (scary)
Apparently we've now hit the birthday season in our friendship group, and this weekend I had two different evenings to get ready for so I thought I'd show you the type of outfits/makeup I wear to evening 'get togethers' and parties.
This is Part One, the second part will be up tomorrow!

On friday we all went to my friends to celebrate their birthday, and it was more of a 'chill, eat loads of food evening'.
As I had been at school that day, I decided to re do all my makeup, so i started by removing it and washing my face.

After this I just pretty much re did my makeup exactly the same,

I did add Dreamy from the Undress Me Too MUA palette
(I was thinking of doing a review of this so comment below if you'd like one)

I used these brushes when applying everything

I used the BarryM 121 and my Katy Perry perfume

I wore a simple checked dress and put my hair in a 'half up half down' bun

My January/February Beauty Favourites

Hello everyone! I thought I'd do a favourites post today and keep it specifically to beauty!

Twilight Woods triple moisture body cream
My first favourite is the Bath & BodyWorks Twilight Woods body cream. I purchased this when I was in Florida last summer. I hadn't used it until recently as I class it as more of a winter scent, and I love it. It's a great body cream and if i remember correctly it was an amazing price for the size! On the back of the product it describes the smell as 'a hypnotic blend of apricot nectar, mimosa petals, and tuscan cypress inspired by the warmth of woods at twilight'.

Zoeva Luxe Sheer Cheek//Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
Recently my skin had a bad turn and using a brush to apply foundation was making it look worse, but the Real Techniques sponge covered it so well! It has been my life saver the past three weeks! I have also loved using the Zoeva brush to apply bronzer.
(My brushes/sponge are all due for a wash tonight sorry about that)

Benefit's Hoola Bronzer
I have been loving the hoola bronzer since I purchased it last summer but recently I've been using it every day. It gives off such a nice bronzed look if you apply a small amount of product which I love.

Tanya Burr Nail polish in the colour Penguin Chic
I own a few of the Tanya Burr and I have completely fallen in love with this colour. It comes out grey with a purple undertone.

Benefit's They're Real Mascara
I'm pretty sure everyone has tried this product so I'm not going to write much about it, just that I have fallen back in love with it when I want just a thin subtle coat, it can be built up to be much thicker but I prefer to use different mascara's for fuller lashes.

Bumble and bumble Surf Spray
I also purchased this while I was in Florida and I love it when my hair is feeling a bit flat which is quite often as it is naturally very straight.

Giorgio Armani Si Perfume
I was given this perfume for Christmas and love to use it for events/special occasions. The smell is long lasting which you'd expect from an expensive perfume. It has a hint of blackcurrant while still being quite a musky scent.

What have you been loving recently?
