Hello, 2016

I'm starting this post the same way I did last year, ITS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I'VE BLOGGED!
The past few months have just been super busy I never have time to sit and write! However, I promise I'm back now!
2015 has been the best year of my life, and looking back at my last new years post, I can officially say I topped the previous year!
This year was the hardest and most emotional one I've ever had, but it was amazing and enjoyable and full of laughter and love. I made it through exams and didn't take any time for granted as I knew this year would go by quickly.
Last year I made three resolutions, and I can definitely say that I fulfilled them all.
I also did things that made me happy, I tried so hard in my exams and have continued that through into the beginning of sixth form, and have 100% created and unforgettable year!
This year, I want to keep those resolutions, but add two more, so this year I want to:
Do what makes me happy
Try my hardest in everything that I do
Make memories, and create another unforgettable year
Explore new things
Appreciate everything, especially the little things

I really hope this year reflects last year, but I am to make it even better!
I hope everyone had an amazing new year, and I hope you're excited for a fresh start!
So like last year, I'm going to leave you with some of my favourite moments from 2015!

Comment down below what your favourite memory of 2015 is and what you're looking forward to in 2016!

Summer's Over

This post is a week overdue as I am onto my second week of school, however I decided to get ill during my first week (yeah that didn't go well!)
So between catching up on everything I missed in three days and pretending to do my drama homework (why oh why) I decided to finally write my summer round up post.

Over the summer I didn't blog as much as I wanted to, however at the same time I enjoyed my time so much and I documented in other ways to look back on. This time every year is always a weird few weeks, starting back at school this year has felt the same, but so different in every way but it's nice to start new things and never have to do things I don't care about again (GOODBYE SCIENCE).

This summer has been one I don't think I'll forget, spending my time with amazing people and having it all to always look back on is amazing. I managed to do things I wanted to, such as go on picnics and have a Disney marathon. I'm sad that it's over and it's back to school and work, but it means my favourite time of the year is coming!

In my mind, september means HALLOWEEN AND CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
Wishing away time I know, but they are the most enjoyable times of the year!

I've also planned to start making more videos for my youtube channel, it's something along with blogging I really enjoy and can't wait for autumn and winter themed posts and videos!

I hope that you all had a good week starting school! I can't wait to get back into a routine in posting!

The end of an era | Leavers 2015

Today marked the end of an era, 5 years of secondary school came to an end as we begin our exams and get ready to start something new.
This post is super long but it is mainly photos, it's more of a personal post for myself, but I wanted to share them with you all as I personally love posts like this (i'm just super nosey haha)

On Wednesday 6th May, our form tutor took us out for a meal to celebrate us being together for five years, it was such a lovely evening and it meant so much to all of us to be together.

Since then, as our exams start this week, we have been having our last lessons of subjects where we'll all be together.

In year seven, our form tutor got us to make a time capsule, which we got back and it was hilarious to see what we all thought about when we were 11.

14/05/2015 was our leavers day, I'm soooo thankful for the past five years and I feel so lucky to have spent it all with such amazing people!

Good luck to everyone taking exams over the next month!

Things I Want To Do This Summer

This blog idea is inspired from Tanya Burr's recent post!
When all my exams are finished I have a 12 week summer and I could not be anymore excited! I'm going to Florida for two weeks but after that I have so much time to plan things with my friends!
I liked the idea of planning a summer 'want' list, and I have decided that anything that gets put on my list, will be blogged about when it happens, like a check list!

Go on picnics; during the summer we tend to go on picnics all the time and they're usually my favourite things to do in the afternoon. What makes it better is knowing we don't have to be anywhere and we can stay out all through the evening!

Have a Harry Potter/Disney Marathon; film marathons are one of my favourite things to do, and wheat better time to do it than on the rainy days in summer?

Have a Coachella/Festival themed party; I want to plan a party with my friends where we get dressed up festival themed and have a chill party.

Go on spontaneous adventures; 'adventures' is a bit chliche, but all I mean by this is a spontaneous decision to do something, whatever it is, as it's always my favourite.

Eat healthier; it's always easier to eat healthier in the summer, so I'm going to do this and try to continue it throughout the rest of the year.

this next one is going to be the cringiest of all but we'll just go with it,

Make Memories; after this summer, a few of us will be going in 'different directions' as they say, so I want to make as many memories as possible, and record them all down on my blog!

If you want to be updated straight away, then follow me on my social media's!
Let me know if any of you are doing something like this in the comments! I think this may be my last proper post until I'm finished with exams so I'll be updating you then! Good luck to anyone sitting any in the next few weeks!

GRWM | get together vs party | Part One

Hello everyone! It's been over a month since I last posted but as you all know I've been busy revising and getting ready for exams which start in about three weeks (scary)
Apparently we've now hit the birthday season in our friendship group, and this weekend I had two different evenings to get ready for so I thought I'd show you the type of outfits/makeup I wear to evening 'get togethers' and parties.
This is Part One, the second part will be up tomorrow!

On friday we all went to my friends to celebrate their birthday, and it was more of a 'chill, eat loads of food evening'.
As I had been at school that day, I decided to re do all my makeup, so i started by removing it and washing my face.

After this I just pretty much re did my makeup exactly the same,

I did add Dreamy from the Undress Me Too MUA palette
(I was thinking of doing a review of this so comment below if you'd like one)

I used these brushes when applying everything

I used the BarryM 121 and my Katy Perry perfume

I wore a simple checked dress and put my hair in a 'half up half down' bun

My Polaroid Pictures | Part one

I thought I'd do a post about my polaroid. It's a post I'd love to keep as a regular thing. I like the idea of showing these small irreplaceable moments with you all. So this is going to be part one, it shows all the pictures taken in 2014 and few from the beginning of this year.

I own the Pink Fujifilm Instax mini 8 and I received it as a birthday present last February and I am in love with it. It has an amazing quality and I know I'll keep these photos for the rest of my life. On each photo I like to write the date, in years to come the day and month won't really have much significance, but I want to be able to look back on the year and remember how amazing it was and how much fun I had. When I take a polaroid I always think 'I'm going to be able to remember this moment forever because of this' and I love it. Things such as my holiday to Florida I'll always remember, but a moment like my friends and I cooking fajitas and dancing to Taylor Swift I won't, and I want to be able to look back and think 'I had such amazing time' because I'm so grateful for the life I am living right now.

That's enough soppy-ness haha, but here is Part One of my polaroids, February 2014-January 2015.

A year of Instagram 2014

As I made my Instagram account in 2011, a lot of my old posts were deleted purely for the fact that they were super cringey! 2014 was my favourite year of Instagram, I loved documenting everything and I've decided to create A year in Instagram to show you all little moments that I've collected.
I've always loved taking photos, but always felt quite awkward doing so, but Instagram has made me so thankful that I do it, as all of my memories are stored in one small social network profile.

In 2014 I posted 107 photos to my Instagram, I know that isn't many compared to some people, but I try to post photos that are from moments that I want to remember in all of the years to come.
Three of these photos were my favourite moments of the year that I spoke about in Hello, 2015
Seventeen of these pictures were selfies

Fifteen of these were concert videos (one being a 2013 throwback)

and surprisingly only Five of these were food posts.

But my favourite photos from this year are ones that make me instantly happy when I look at them. Pictures such as the one with 4/6 of my internet friends when we met and pictures from my holiday in Florida which is my happy place.

And of course all of the amazing times I've had with my friends this year.

I know people use Instagram in lots of different ways, and I'd love you to tell me what you like to post to your accounts in the comments. Are you happy with how you documented 2014? What are you going to do in 2015 to capture your happy moments? I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas!
