Hello, 2016

I'm starting this post the same way I did last year, ITS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I'VE BLOGGED!
The past few months have just been super busy I never have time to sit and write! However, I promise I'm back now!
2015 has been the best year of my life, and looking back at my last new years post, I can officially say I topped the previous year!
This year was the hardest and most emotional one I've ever had, but it was amazing and enjoyable and full of laughter and love. I made it through exams and didn't take any time for granted as I knew this year would go by quickly.
Last year I made three resolutions, and I can definitely say that I fulfilled them all.
I also did things that made me happy, I tried so hard in my exams and have continued that through into the beginning of sixth form, and have 100% created and unforgettable year!
This year, I want to keep those resolutions, but add two more, so this year I want to:
Do what makes me happy
Try my hardest in everything that I do
Make memories, and create another unforgettable year
Explore new things
Appreciate everything, especially the little things

I really hope this year reflects last year, but I am to make it even better!
I hope everyone had an amazing new year, and I hope you're excited for a fresh start!
So like last year, I'm going to leave you with some of my favourite moments from 2015!

Comment down below what your favourite memory of 2015 is and what you're looking forward to in 2016!

Summer's Over

This post is a week overdue as I am onto my second week of school, however I decided to get ill during my first week (yeah that didn't go well!)
So between catching up on everything I missed in three days and pretending to do my drama homework (why oh why) I decided to finally write my summer round up post.

Over the summer I didn't blog as much as I wanted to, however at the same time I enjoyed my time so much and I documented in other ways to look back on. This time every year is always a weird few weeks, starting back at school this year has felt the same, but so different in every way but it's nice to start new things and never have to do things I don't care about again (GOODBYE SCIENCE).

This summer has been one I don't think I'll forget, spending my time with amazing people and having it all to always look back on is amazing. I managed to do things I wanted to, such as go on picnics and have a Disney marathon. I'm sad that it's over and it's back to school and work, but it means my favourite time of the year is coming!

In my mind, september means HALLOWEEN AND CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
Wishing away time I know, but they are the most enjoyable times of the year!

I've also planned to start making more videos for my youtube channel, it's something along with blogging I really enjoy and can't wait for autumn and winter themed posts and videos!

I hope that you all had a good week starting school! I can't wait to get back into a routine in posting!

Results Day!

First I'd like to start this post with an apology, I have no excuse as to why I haven't been posting recently, but as it's summer I feel not having a routine has made me neglect my blog!

Yesterday I found out my GCSE results! It was an amazing relief to open the envelope and see that I achieved what I needed! I was proud of how much work I had put in as it all paid off and I'm able to go to sixth form!
I got 2 A's, 2 B's, 3 C's (and then 2 D's and an E lmao) and next year I will be taking Theatre Studies, Media, Geography and Psychology.
I'm really excited to finally leave behind subjects I don't enjoy and focus on what I know is best for me!
I hope if you got your results yesterday you were happy with what you got! I know I certainly was!
This was my friend and I when we found out we got an A in drama, we cried A LOT!

I'm going away for a week but once I'm back I promise I will start to upload at least one post a week!
Thankyou for reading x

My Polaroid Pictures | Part one

I thought I'd do a post about my polaroid. It's a post I'd love to keep as a regular thing. I like the idea of showing these small irreplaceable moments with you all. So this is going to be part one, it shows all the pictures taken in 2014 and few from the beginning of this year.

I own the Pink Fujifilm Instax mini 8 and I received it as a birthday present last February and I am in love with it. It has an amazing quality and I know I'll keep these photos for the rest of my life. On each photo I like to write the date, in years to come the day and month won't really have much significance, but I want to be able to look back on the year and remember how amazing it was and how much fun I had. When I take a polaroid I always think 'I'm going to be able to remember this moment forever because of this' and I love it. Things such as my holiday to Florida I'll always remember, but a moment like my friends and I cooking fajitas and dancing to Taylor Swift I won't, and I want to be able to look back and think 'I had such amazing time' because I'm so grateful for the life I am living right now.

That's enough soppy-ness haha, but here is Part One of my polaroids, February 2014-January 2015.

My 2014 Favourites

As I've only recently started this blog, I decided that it would be a good idea to do a post about beauty and fashion items I loved during 2014. I thought it would be a good way for you to get to know a bit more about the things I like, and what my posts will be featuring in the future.

My first favourites of the year are my two most used makeup brushes, the Real Techniques Expert Face brush and the Mac 187 brush. I often use the real techniques brush for both foundation and concealer.

Rimmel stay matte powder in 001 Transparent
Maybelline dream satin liquid foundation in 10 ivory, in my opinion this is the best foundation I've ever tried, and I've been using it throughout all of 2014
Benefit's Porefessional Primer
Collection lasting perfection concealer in Fair 1
e.l.f Mineral INFUSED Mascara
Rimmel glam eyes liquid liner

eos mint lip balm
Barry M lipstick in 160 this product became a favourite towards the end of year, my favourite lipstick during the whole year was the Perrie Edwards Collection Lipstick

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

Taylor Swift Wonderstruck I switch between loving the two different Taylor Swift perfumes, but this one is definitely my favourite.

I have loved the Topshop Joni Jeans (I have the high waisted ones) for a long time, I wear the black ones pretty much every day

And my last favourite is a bit random, but I got my polaroid for my birthday last February and I've loved it SO much. I have the Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 and it's perfect for capturing my favourite moments.

What did you love during 2014?

Change

I'm not one for change. I like the same things, but only when it comes to the little things in life. I hate routine, I feel as if all I ever do it get ready, all I ever do is go to bed. I want something new to do, and I want it to happen as soon as it can.
At this moment in time, I'm having to decided what I want to do next. I've chosen to apply for sixth form, and I've decided on what I want to study, but I constantly feel like I'm not good enough. Everyone has soomething they're good at, why don't I?

Wanderlust.
I'm certain about one thing I want from the future. I want to travel, and see everything I can. After being on holiday in the summer, I realised that maybe I like being disconnected from my friends. While I was away I could do what I wanted, I didn't have to speak to anyone, because I was so far from anyone I knew. Most of my friends know what they want in life, leaving me as the odd one out, the one that doesn't take things seriously, but I know that I don't want to be stuck in one place for the rest of my life.
Yes maybe I'd like to go to university, but only if i find my passion. At the moment I want to live my dream, I want to see the world. I know that I'll have to wait a few years for this all to happen, but at least I have something to look forward to that I want, and not just doing something because others are.
What do you guys want to do next?

Hello, 2015

Wowee has it been a long time since I've posted! But hello 2015, I'm hoping this will be the year that I finally start my blog properly!

2014 was such an amazing year for me. I truly mean it in every way when I say it was my favourite year. Which makes me sad to leave it, but excited to try and top it this year!

Last night I decided to go through my pictures of the year and post a few of my favourites to instagram. I ended up having to cut it down to 72 (don't worry they were not posted individually!). It made me feel so happy that I had documented all of the amazing times I had throughout the year. I sat for so long going through all the pictures and smiling, knowing that I will have these moments documented for the rest of my life.

I have been so thankful for the things I was able to do during 2014. I know that I didn't waste any time, and that I can look back and smile at how amazing it was. I did things that made me happy, and ultimately that's the main goal.
I feel as if the main reason 2014 was my favourite year was because I made so many new friends, and started speaking to older friends of whom I had drifted from over the past few years. We have all created such a kind, loving, fun friendship group, not to mention a big one!! But it really is nice knowing you have so many people around you who love and care for you! I know that they'd do anything for me, and I feel that way about all of them.

As our exams approach giving us only a few months left being all together, I think everyone will make this an unforgettable year, and I'm excited to see what it brings! However I also know this will be a stressful year. The pressure to do well and having to choose what I want to do next will be hard, and I'm already preparing myself for it all. To be completely honest I have no clue what I want to do next, which sometimes makes it hard to be around others who do. But I know I will get there soon, I'm able to tick off things that I don't see myself doing, which means I will be able to focus on the things I am interested in.

I've never been someone who makes new years resolutions, I think that if you want to change something why wait? Always do what makes you happy! I think a good idea when it comes to resolutions is to only make a couple, therefore you are more focused, so I have decided that my resolutions will simply be
Do what makes me happy
Try my hardest in everything that I do
Make memories, and create another unforgettable year!

If you are reading this I hope you had an amazing year! I'd also love you to comment what you loved about 2014, and what you hope you will achieve in 2015!
I am going to try my hardest to blog more, to document things and to talk about things that I love!
I'd also really love to share with you all my memories from 2014
