Sometimes life gets in the way...

I'm just going to start this post with an apology. I've been so bad at posting recently it's embarrassing, but life has really got in the way the past few weeks.
On Friday night I had my GCSE drama showcase so the whole week I've been at school every evening preparing for it. Everyone performed so well and you could see how much hard work they put into it.
I know I said I would be getting lots of blog posts written to schedule, but that hasn't really happened as it takes up so much time. Revision is really getting in the way of everything, but right now that's what i need to focus on.

Yesterday I spent a day with all my friends watching the six nations and Ireland won WOO.
As we were in an irish household we were all decked out and ready to support!

I will try my hardest to keep the blog updated, even if it's just small update posts about life like this!
As I'm so busy with revision I don't have lots of time to go out shopping and find new products to try.
Hope you're all doing well!

A lot of these products you will have seen on my blog already, and I feel as if I'm being repetitive, however I'm currently trying lots of new everyday makeup products to switch things up in my makeup bag. So I thought before everything's changed, I would post my simple makeup must haves.

My January/February Beauty Favourites

Hello everyone! I thought I'd do a favourites post today and keep it specifically to beauty!

Twilight Woods triple moisture body cream
My first favourite is the Bath & BodyWorks Twilight Woods body cream. I purchased this when I was in Florida last summer. I hadn't used it until recently as I class it as more of a winter scent, and I love it. It's a great body cream and if i remember correctly it was an amazing price for the size! On the back of the product it describes the smell as 'a hypnotic blend of apricot nectar, mimosa petals, and tuscan cypress inspired by the warmth of woods at twilight'.

Zoeva Luxe Sheer Cheek//Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
Recently my skin had a bad turn and using a brush to apply foundation was making it look worse, but the Real Techniques sponge covered it so well! It has been my life saver the past three weeks! I have also loved using the Zoeva brush to apply bronzer.
(My brushes/sponge are all due for a wash tonight sorry about that)

Benefit's Hoola Bronzer
I have been loving the hoola bronzer since I purchased it last summer but recently I've been using it every day. It gives off such a nice bronzed look if you apply a small amount of product which I love.

Tanya Burr Nail polish in the colour Penguin Chic
I own a few of the Tanya Burr and I have completely fallen in love with this colour. It comes out grey with a purple undertone.

Benefit's They're Real Mascara
I'm pretty sure everyone has tried this product so I'm not going to write much about it, just that I have fallen back in love with it when I want just a thin subtle coat, it can be built up to be much thicker but I prefer to use different mascara's for fuller lashes.

Bumble and bumble Surf Spray
I also purchased this while I was in Florida and I love it when my hair is feeling a bit flat which is quite often as it is naturally very straight.

Giorgio Armani Si Perfume
I was given this perfume for Christmas and love to use it for events/special occasions. The smell is long lasting which you'd expect from an expensive perfume. It has a hint of blackcurrant while still being quite a musky scent.

What have you been loving recently?

A little update! Birthday and London

Hi guys! I'm sorry I've been lacking with posts recently but school suddenly got so busy and I had no time to just sit down and write! I thought I'd just do a little update post to tell you what's been going on!
It was my birthday last week and I turned 16 YAY! School has also got very busy now as exams are getting so close! It's half term this week so in between all the revision and homework I have I'm going to write as many posts as possible and schedule them for the next few weeks!

As I said it was my birthday last week and it was amazing! I'm so thankful for everything I got!
I celebrated with my friends and family and I loved it!
Here's a few pictures!

Last night we also took a trip into London to see Wicked and it was AMAZING! I can't put into words how much I enjoyed it! I also found myself crying at Defying Gravity oops!

Picture from my Instagram

Thankyou for all the lovely comments you've all been leaving and I'm so sorry about the lack of posts but that should be sorted soon! Hope you all have a wonderful day!

My Polaroid Pictures | Part one

I thought I'd do a post about my polaroid. It's a post I'd love to keep as a regular thing. I like the idea of showing these small irreplaceable moments with you all. So this is going to be part one, it shows all the pictures taken in 2014 and few from the beginning of this year.

I own the Pink Fujifilm Instax mini 8 and I received it as a birthday present last February and I am in love with it. It has an amazing quality and I know I'll keep these photos for the rest of my life. On each photo I like to write the date, in years to come the day and month won't really have much significance, but I want to be able to look back on the year and remember how amazing it was and how much fun I had. When I take a polaroid I always think 'I'm going to be able to remember this moment forever because of this' and I love it. Things such as my holiday to Florida I'll always remember, but a moment like my friends and I cooking fajitas and dancing to Taylor Swift I won't, and I want to be able to look back and think 'I had such amazing time' because I'm so grateful for the life I am living right now.

That's enough soppy-ness haha, but here is Part One of my polaroids, February 2014-January 2015.
